In the fast paced 21st century, many ladies face a problem of carrying more than a pair of shoes – either heels or flats. With this, Mr Teo Bing Qiang, CEO of Sashey was inspired to solve the problem when one night, he saw his mother who is an entrepreneur having aches all over her feet with a few bruises on her feet due to the constant standing, walking and travelling to her various salons. Mr Teo knew that his mother had to wear heels to work and prefers to wear a flat after her working hours but never knew that travelling around with the pair of heels could hurt her feet. With this, Mr Teo had a plan to solve this problem for, most importantly, the woman of his life – his mother.

 

Moving on, he found five friends with similar interests after he shared his plans and hence, the team of six partners were formed on the 15th August 2015. After much discussions and research, the team has decided to come up with foldable heels which could be a pair of flats for ladies as well. In this way, Sashey provides the best of both worlds.

 

As Mr Teo known as a fashion enthusiast who keeps up with the fashion trends, hence named the brand “Sashey”. The name was inspired by the original North American word, “Sashay” which also means a lady who walks with confidence that attracts people’s attention.

 

Sashey also prides itself by providing fashionable and high quality footwear that will be “her” partner to walk the journey ahead. We believe that a good pair of footwear is more than just a fashion statement or accessory. With Sashey, there will be a pair of shoes for every woman from all walks of life. All in all, we believe in footwear that provides the 3Cs – Comfort, Confidence and Convenience and most importantly Sashey sells solutions for the problems of the 21st century ladies.
